Mom got a picture of Blackie today, so I figured that I would show everyone. Here he is, I am still getting to know him so, I am sure I will have more to say later.

Blackie

Mom brought home another one.

She hasn't taken a picture of him yet...she says, but when she does, I will put it here. (I saw her take the camera thing into where he is). OK, so this new 'cat' she calls Blackie. He kinda looks like a really furry Me. He doesn't have all the white parts that I do, but that is fine. He seems nice. I met Mom at the door when she brought him in and she let me sniff him. And then she let me into the bathroom once to say hi.

Mom says that he is only visiting. I guess that is ok. Abby and I get along really nicely, so I guess we can add another one for a little bit. We will just have to see what happens

My first post

Hi,

Its me, Abby. I figured that I would finally get onto this thing and introduce myself.

I am still not to sure about humans. I like the tall lady, she has this wonderful 'sleeping bag' that she lets me sleep in and she nices me. But I still run from her when she moves. Someday I might let her catch me, but for now I dont want her to think that I am going to be caught to easily.

I was a wild cat for most of my life. They call me 'feral' but I think that I was just free. When it started to get warm outside, I got caught. They took me to a place where I was fed and taken care of. I had three kittens and they were so cute. The kittens went off to a good home, they tell me. For a long time I lived in a little cage. I liked it there, because it seemed really safe. Every once and a while, the humans would come and visit me. They would pet me and would hold me. Then one day, my Human came to the place where I used to live. She came with the little humans...I was a little scared, but my Human seemed nice. Everyone started calling me 'Abby'. My Human came back a few days later and we took a ride in a car to a nice house.

My human let me loose in her home and I looked around for a minute, mostly for a place where it was quiet and I could hide. My Human would pet me and she let me sleep next to her. I also met Socks. I like Socks, he and I play and spend time together. It has been a nice couple of weeks since I came to my new home. I am starting to venture out, but only when my Human is the only one awake. Socks and I play alot and I like to be close to him. He is a very 'sociable' cat and loves the company. My Human says that is good, cause Socks was really lonely and she is happy that we get along.

Well, I think I hear my Human coming so I better quit for now, though I have to quickly ask Socks what I need to do next with this blog thing.

Laters,
Abby

Me and Abby

While Mom was away, I had some time to figure out who Abby was. I think she is pretty cool. We nap together and play together at night. Sometimes Abby takes things to seriously, but she always comes back to play. Mom keeps calling me and her girlfriend and boyfriend...she thinks it is cute. Abby sleeps under the girls bed and I sleep on top of the bed.

I am glad Mom is home, I missed her.
